According to the data of the China Machinery Industry Federation, in 2022, the added value of the machinery industry will increase by 4% year on year, 0.4 percentage points higher than the growth rate of the national industrial added value, and 1 percentage point higher than the growth rate of the manufacturing added value. According to data from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, the average operating rate of construction machinery nationwide reached 53.14% in the first quarter of this year, with lifting equipment and excavation equipment taking the lead in operating rates. Analysis by securities firms indicates that in the short term, with the continuous promotion of a package of policies and follow-up measures to stabilize the economy, the construction of major infrastructure projects such as transportation, water conservancy, and energy will drive marginal improvement in domestic demand for construction machinery; In the medium to long term, the growth logic of construction machinery enterprises has shifted from high product sales growth to the transformation and upgrading of products towards high-end, intelligent, and electrification. With the increase of core component localization rate and the increasingly perfect overseas channels, domestic construction machinery enterprises are expected to reshape the global market competition pattern and continuously increase market share.

At present, with the weakening of China's demographic dividend, large-scale modern construction projects and increasingly strict environmental protection requirements, green development is becoming an important trend in the construction machinery industry. Recently, the kickoff meeting and first drafting meeting of the "Technical Regulations for Remanufacturing Tower Cranes" of the Safety Management and Machinery Rental Service Branch of the China Safety Industry Association was held in Changshu, Jiangsu.

It is reported that the "Technical Specification for Remanufacturing of Tower Cranes" specifies the terms and definitions of tower crane remanufacturing, proposes general technical requirements for tower crane remanufacturing, and describes the process flow of dismantling, cleaning, classification, repair, assembly, labeling, and factory acceptance of tower cranes.

The representatives attending the meeting stated that standard formulation is of great significance for green development, energy conservation and emission reduction, and promoting high-quality development of the tower crane industry. It can avoid similar regulations formulated by different regions that make it difficult for manufacturers and leasing enterprises to cope, and also lay a foundation for fair competition among tower crane remanufacturing enterprises.
